Assorted JavaScripts

The scripts offered here use plain old JavaScript to do their magic. Other offerings on my Web site combine JavaScript and Style commands to produce Dynamic HTML. Feel free to use and inspect these codes to make them work for you. A little tweeking here and there, and the next thing you know it looks completely different. Good luck with these.

I believe you will be able to learn how to make onMouseOver buttons with this easy to follow tutorial. The images are provided to help you begin your journey into onMouseOver JavaScripts.

Take a button or image and add a bit of sound to it and you have the next twist to the onMouseOver effect.

Here's the latest of my SlideShows, unfortunately, the best part of the show can only be seen in MSIE 5.5. It's a pixelated automatic slide show, take a peek if your browser allows.

I've loved this script for a long time now and I think you will too. It uses thumbnail images that can be clicked to produce a DIV pop-up containing the full sized image along with a close button. What makes this special, is that you can move the pop-up image around the screen and then close it when you don't need it any longer. Really nice script and runs in all Browsers too!

Got an idea about using JavaScripts ability to keep track of time? Here's a Countdown script that will count the days, hours, minutes and seconds to the event in real time.

Internet Explorer offers a scrolling marquee HTML tag, but Netscape can't see it. Have renewed hope, this script looks just like the Marquee effect but both browsers can use it fully! Look and see if this is for you.

Internet Explorer also has a scrolling Texttip, a moving marquee-like text box appears at the hyperlink with your pre-programmed comments.

Internet Explorer has a somewhat quirky JAVA-like text animator that can be programmed to inform visitors about whatever you wish.
