This code should be copied and placed in the <head> section of your Web page. There will be a companion code that will be pasted into the <body> at the point where you wish to use the application.
For your information, when you see two slashes // in the code, it is a short comment only, it has no bearing on the JavaScript. Also, when you see a slash and an asterisk /* followed by an asterisk and a slash */, it is a long comment, one that spans more than one line of text, again it has no bearing on the JavaScript. Paste the following in the <head> and make any changes that need to be made.
This code must be placed inside the <body> of your document, just where you need it. It will be a <table> that will hold the code. Feel free to delete all of my comments in the script below once you understand what is happening with the code.
