Rapid Prototyping of a Web Site

The example shown on the left side of the page was created in Fireworks CS4, (also possible in CS3), and was exported as HTML and Images from a single Fireworks PNG file.

There are six (6) different pages and one Master Page that controls the Logo, Background, and simple button navigation on the left. Look through the links and you'll notice what remains constant and what is new to the page. In this example I did not choose to export as CSS. That will be another exercise.

This prototype was contained to 700 pixels wide and 433 pixel high, although any page can extend down a far as needed. I did not include a footer in this first version but I will add one to the pages soon. The footer as a symbol will not be included on the Master page so that it can extend down as far as needed. If it was included in the Master, it would be in a fixed position and text could possibly extend below creating a very messy looking page.
