Behind the Cover Art: May, 2025

The cover theme for May centers on Cinco de Mayo, highlighting tequila as a key element of the celebration. Instead of a typical Margarita illustration, I chose to depict the blue agave plant, emphasizing its role in tequila production. To enhance the festive atmosphere, I incorporated decorative sombreros, a premium tequila bottle, and several cacti. I also applied the layered cut-paper technique from the February cover to add depth to the composition. I hope this provides insight into my creative process for themed cover art.
