Behind the Cover Art: February, 2026

I completed this cover painting prior to the announcement of February’s events, predicting a Valentine’s Dinner Dance. However, the decision was made to hold a Mardi Gras celebration instead, which coincides with Valentine’s Day on February 14th. After dedicating several weeks to this artwork, I am pleased to feature it for February. The cover’s elements—chocolate-covered strawberries, sparkling champagne, and a touch of romantic music—capture the intended mood. With this month’s cover finished, I look forward to creating the next one for March.
