Behind the Cover Art: July, 2026

I chose the golf cart parade as this month’s cover theme, inspired by the creativity of the Fourth of July decorated carts in our annual event. This month’s cover is a mixed media piece, combining digital painting with select photographs to create the design. The Lakeview Village Christmas in July Craft Fair inspired the Christmas golf cart motif, complete with Santa and his toy bag. For efficiency, I used a limited number of photographs in the composition. Looking ahead, I am committed to producing a fully painted cover for next month and already have a promising concept in mind. Stay tuned for the reveal.
