Behind the Cover Art: October, 2026

I created two cover paintings for October. The first, a landscape of a pumpkin field ready for harvest, did not meet my expectations for excitement and remains unfinished; it may be used in the future. Seeking a more dynamic subject, I began a new painting featuring a spooky house, lightning, skeletons, iron gates, and villagers in Halloween costumes. Although constructing the building proved challenging, I persisted and incorporated skeletons and costumed residents from a previous Halloween event. The result is a lively and engaging scene, far more compelling than the original pumpkin field concept.
