Behind the Cover Art: November, 2026

This cover design was created to honor father and son veterans of WWII, focusing exclusively on the unique bond between two generations. Inspired by original Marine Corps artwork, I aimed to contribute a fresh perspective through digital painting. Using a sculpture as my reference, I transformed the stone figures into lifelike representations in period-appropriate military uniforms. To complete the composition, I incorporated a historically accurate WWII dog tag to announce our annual Veterans’ Breakfast, held each November 11th.
