Terry is a professional photographer who happens to be a resident of our community as well as a nearby neighbor of mine. He has contributed many photographs for consideration and so far, three have been selected for printing.

Most photographers including Terry, naturally choose to shoot in landscape mode; however, magazines are normally vertical as in portrait mode. In some cases, it is possible to crop down a great photograph and retain most of what the photographer wanted to convey. Sometimes, a whole new subject matter or feeling becomes the result of the crop.

I'll work along with Terry as we attempt to properly crop the image for the addition of a masthead and other content that might be needed for the magazine. The end result must please the photographer, or I will not submit it to be printed for the Crier magazine.
