The concepts for each page remain the same, a graphic element, which may or may not be too large for the page, a text area placed on a rounded rectangle with a drop-shadow. For this page I reduced the width of the rounded-rectangle.
The Sub-Header text is always in the same position and with the same font size, this keeps the look-n-feel the same from page to page.
I have been thinking about adding some States to the exercise by placing Hot Spots on the Lunch Menu and the Dinner Menu. I'm thinking that if you click one of these buttons we could have the tilted menu swap-images. There could be a Lunch Menu image and then a Dinner Menu image. This would also give me a chance to discuss States, the middle element of the PAGES, STATES, and LAYERS panel. A brief note on this, there could be three States in use, the first state is the current menu graphic, the second state would be the Lunch replacement graphic, and the third state would be the Dinner replacement graphic. I think I'm really going to do this! (I DID IT!!)
If I convert this exercise to CSS, the tilted images would not work since I would be using live text for the menus. That would be one way to keep the site fresh for re-visits. But, it could contain new images just as well. This would depend upon how much the client wished to pay for these services on an on-going basis.
